ACX has expanded its B.C. presence with the acquisition of two Colorworks Tom’s Custom Autobody locations in Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam.
The collision centres will be rebranded as ACX Coquitlam and ACX PoCo. The Port Coquitlam location has served the Tri-Cities region since 1979, while the Coquitlam location opened in 2019.
Together, the two locations hold OEM certifications for Kia, Hyundai, Genesis, Nissan, Volvo, Ford, Honda, Acura, and Stellantis brands.
ACX president Arthur Crawford said the locations presented an opportunity to expand the company’s presence in the Tri-Cities while adding teams that align with its approach to collision repair.
“As our brand grows in B.C., it's important to position ourselves with centres that align with ACX's commitment to quality, including safe, OEM certified repairs and customer service excellence”, said Crawford.
“After meeting the teams at both locations, we knew they'd be the right people to help us achieve that.”
ACX said it plans to build on the locations’ existing OEM certifications while investing in new systems, equipment and training.
The two centres will continue to be supported by their existing teams, which have experience in collision repair and customer service.
