ACX has opened a 25,000-square-foot collision centre in Maple Ridge, B.C., its first location in the Lower Mainland and second in the province.
“Ridge Meadows is an important milestone for ACX as we continue to grow our presence in British Columbia,” said Shaun Desmond, director of operations, public insurance at ACX. “This location was purpose-built to serve the Maple Ridge community and support the needs of the local market, while bringing the same high standards for OEM-certified repairs and customer service that we deliver across ACX. We’re proud to officially open the doors and become part of this community.”
ACX officially marked the opening of ACX Ridge Meadows on Sept. 9. The location is the company’s first collision centre that was constructed rather than acquired and was developed to support three local dealerships representing GM, Volkswagen and Chrysler.
The facility has four-bay downdraft paint booths and currently holds OEM certifications for Acura, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Genesis, Honda, Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, Nissan, Ram and Tesla.
Certifications for Porsche, Buick, Chevrolet, GMC, Toyota and Volkswagen are also underway.
The Maple Ridge location expands ACX’s collision repair operations into the Lower Mainland while adding OEM-certified repair capacity in the area.
Maple Ridge Mayor Dan Ruimy and his wife, Deb, attended the grand opening, along with guests from across the collision repair industry, including attendees who travelled from New Jersey. The event also featured live music from Patrick Gavigan, catering from Salt n Sear and ice sculptures.
