Jamie Beggs will serve as PPG Industry's next chief financial officer and senior vice-president, starting on July 6.
Beggs will succeed Vince Morales, who is retiring after 41 years with the company. She will report to chairman and CEO Timothy Knavish and will join both the company’s executive and operating committees.
Beggs brings more than 25 years of financial leadership experience, including roles spanning corporate finance, strategy and operations. She joins PPG from Avient Corporation, where she has served as chief financial officer since 2020.
Knavish said, “We are excited to welcome Jamie to PPG as we drive and accelerate our growth strategy.” He added, “Her extensive financial expertise, operational experience and track record of delivering results will be invaluable as we continue to create value for our shareholders.”
In a statement, Beggs said, “PPG is a company with an incredible legacy and an even more exciting future.” She added, “I look forward to working with the team to build on its strong foundation and help drive continued growth and performance.”
Morales will remain with the company through the transition period to support a smooth handover.
