4Plastic has appointed Frank Phillips Jr. as chief executive officer.

“I am incredibly excited to join 4Plastic at such a defining moment,” said Phillips. “We are launching a global initiative to establish the industry gold standard for plastic repair processes, technology, and tooling.”

Phillips brings more than 35 years of leadership experience across the insurance, OEM and collision repair sectors. His background includes roles with OEMs such as Rivian and multi-shop operators including Caliber Collision, where he focused on enterprise growth, operational performance and large-scale transformation.

The appointment comes as demand grows for repair-first, OEM-aligned and sustainable solutions. Over the past five years, the company’s repair platform has operated within the Boyd Group, spanning more than 1,000 locations across Canada, the United States, Australia and Europe.

4Plastic’s technology includes patented repair systems and tooling, including plastic weld systems, bumper push tools and precision jig kits designed to restore OEM form, fit and function. The company is preparing to launch a range of headlight repair solutions in the third quarter.

Through a partnership with SEM Products, a PPG company, 4Plastic has secured North American distribution and is advancing into additional international markets.

As CEO, Phillips will oversee global operations and governance and performance systems.

In a LinkedIn post, Phillips said he is “honoured and humbled” to join 4Plastic.
