A major figure in Canada’s collision repair sector is taking on a leadership position with a plastics-focused industry group.

Daryll O'Keefe, vice-president, business development, North America at Fix Network, has joined the global council of Plasnomic, according to an announcement from the organization.

Plasnomic is an industry initiative focused on advancing the repair of automotive plastics as an alternative to replacement. The group works with collision repairers, training bodies and industry stakeholders to develop standardized repair methods, certification frameworks and validation processes aimed at reducing waste and lowering repair costs tied to plastic components.

The board framed the appointment as a strategic addition tied to scaling those efforts. “We’re proud to welcome Daryll O’Keefe, to the Plasnomic Global Council,” the organization stated in a social media post. “With over 30 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, Daryll brings a rare combination of leadership, industry influence, and a proven track record in building training infrastructure and scaling operations across global markets.”

The statement positioned the move within a broader push to integrate plastic repair into mainstream collision workflows.

“His impact across Canada and internationally through Fix Network has helped shape some of the most progressive collision repair programs in the industry today,” the board stated. “Daryll’s appointment strengthens Plasnomic’s presence in Canada and reinforces our mission to bring structure, consistency and real validation to plastic repair.”
