Repair or replace? Collision Repair wants to know where shops stand.

As plastic repair methods and training improve, more collision-damaged components may be candidates for repair rather than replacement. But capability is only part of the equation: OEM procedures, insurer decisions, technician training, equipment, compensation and safety considerations can all determine what actually happens in the bodyshop.

This week’s CRM Collision Index: Plastic Repair Snapshot asks collision repair professionals what they are seeing on the shop floor, what is preventing more plastic repairs and what would need to change to make repair a more practical option.

Take the short survey and help us measure where the industry stands.
