Media Matters Inc., publisher of Collision Repair magazine and Bodyworx Professional, has launched Collision Community, a job board dedicated exclusively to the collision repair industry.
The platform, available at www.collisioncommunity.com, connects employers with a targeted audience of subscribers already working in or training for careers in the trade. The audience includes apprentices, recent graduates of collision programs and experienced technicians seeking new opportunities.
Collision Community offers free employer profiles, allowing shops to showcase their brand with company logos, bios, contact information and social media links, alongside a full list of active job postings. As part of an introductory promotion, first-time users can post up to five basic job listings at no cost, each running for up to 30 days.
Employers also have the option to upgrade visibility through featured listings, which appear at the top of the job board, and through the Collision Repair E-Zine Package, which promotes postings to thousands of readers each Friday.
The launch comes as the collision repair sector continues to face a labour shortage, with industry estimates suggesting a gap of 30-40% in needed technicians.
Collision Community was developed to help shops connect with qualified candidates more efficiently while reducing recruitment costs.
