Vaughan, Ontario -- There’s nothing quite like a warm summer afternoon to distract from the busy day-to-day of running a collision business — and CHC Paint & Body Shop Supplies knows it well.

On July 19, CHC Paint & Body Shop Supplies welcomed more than 50 guests to Boyd Conservation Area’s Green Acres site for the company’s 7th annual summer picnic.

Under clear skies and warm sunshine, industry partners, family and friends gathered for a relaxed afternoon of laughter, lawn games and shared memories.

Hosted by CHC vice-president Manny Pacheco, the picnic is part of company’s long-standing commitment to building relationships within the automotive refinishing industry.

"I just want to thank everyone for coming — I even have my crew from Ottawa who drove five hours," said Pacheco, noting the event’s far-reaching appeal. "It’s all about family and culture — and giving back — here at CHC."

The event also highlighted CHC’s ongoing partnership with PPG and reinforced the value of strengthening personal connections outside the shop floor.

Guests were treated to Caribbean favourites from a jerk chicken food truck, along with sweet treats from a local ice cream truck.
