Canada’s top young collision repair and refinishing students will compete at the 2026 Skills Canada National Competition, scheduled for May 28 and 29 at Toronto’s Enercare Centre.

More than 550 competitors from across the country are expected to participate in over 40 skilled trades contests, including autobody repair, automotive refinishing and automotive service technology.

Competitors qualified through provincial and territorial events held earlier this year. The event will bring together students, educators, employers, OEMs and industry suppliers for two days of live competition and career networking.

Gold medalists in select categories may advance to represent Canada at future international Skills competitions. Organizers say the event remains one of the country’s largest showcases for skilled trades careers and technical education.
