Manager Golf Tournament: Craftsman honours late founder

Craftsman

Craftsman Collision held its 2026 Manager Golf Tournament at Desert Falls Country Club, bringing together more than 70 collision repair industry representatives, sponsors and vendor partners.

This year's event honoured Bill Hatswell, Craftman Collision's founder, who died in November.

"We held it at his old course because we wanted it to be somewhere close to him," said his son, Rick Hatswell, president of operations at Craftsman Collision.

The event also featured a keynote speaker, John Niechwiadowicz of QLC Inc., which which provides consulting and management training to automotive businesses across North America.

"The speech focused  leveling up businesses through small, incremental improvement," Hatswell added. "It was a great way  to start the conversations between our managers about what they're doing differently from each other."

The event had two premier sponsors, BASF and Colour Compass. It was also supported by LKQ Corporation, Dilawri Group of Companies, APT Auto Parts, The Jim Pattison Auto Group, BETAG, 3M, ALLDATA, Enterprise and UniParts O.E.M. Canada, Caruk & Associates (Saint-Gobain), Advantage Parts Solutions, Langley Chrysler, Carter GM, West Coast Auto Group, Nu-Brite Industries and Mercedes-Benz Country Hills.
