Chinese automobile manufacturer Dongfeng Motor Corp has launched a Canadian website featuring its models, national distributor lineup for dealer partners in Canada and frequently asked questions about the Canadian market.
While the website includes basic information, the vehicles shown are currently undergoing the required homologation and regulatory approval process before becoming available for sale in Canada. Dongfeng will update its website with confirmed configurations, specifications and launch dates as approvals are granted.
Dongfeng also displayed the following six vehicles at an event in the Port of Montreal on July 14:
Voyah Free – Premium Plug-in Hybrid SUV
BOX 01 EV- Compact Electric Crossover
Eπ 007 EV- Electric Performance Sedan
Eπ 008 PHEV- Premium Family Plug-in Hybrid SUV
Vigo EV- Electric SUV for daily driving
MHERO 817- Plug-in Hybrid Off-Road SUV
According to Julie Mazorra Fernández, director of North World Industry, the Vigo SUV and Box hatchback will be priced below $35,000.
