Toronto, Ontario -- AutoCanada, a publicly traded Canadian automotive dealership group, is appointing Fade Bouras as chief operating officer, effective Jan. 15, 2026.
In his new position, Bouras will report to interim chief executive officer and chief financial officer Sam Cochrane and work with interim president of dealership operations Mikel Pestrak. His responsibilities include franchised dealership operations, marketing, used dealerships and the company’s broader used-vehicle strategy.
"Fade is a proven operator with deep experience across every level of dealership operations," said Cochrane. "He brings a strong execution mindset, extensive platform leadership experience and a clear focus on operational discipline."
Bouras has more than 22 years of experience in the automotive retail sector. He built his career primarily at HGrégoire, a Quebec-based automotive retailer with operations in Canada and the United States, where he joined early in a sales role and moved through positions in finance and business development before taking on senior operational responsibilities.
"His appointment strengthens our leadership team as we work to improve performance across our dealerships," added Cochrane.
