Toronto, Ontario -- PPG has named Secret Safari (PPG1110-4) its 2026 Colour of the Year, a mid-tone yellow-green with subtle lime undertones that the company says embodies “earthy elegance and modern vitality.”
Serving as the cornerstone of PPG’s 2026 global colour theme, Parallels, the hue anchors three coordinating palettes – Authentic, Visionary and Expressive – each designed to reflect distinct creative directions across architectural, industrial and consumer product applications.
PPG describes Secret Safari as a versatile, nature-rooted shade that shifts beautifully with light, evoking tranquility in daylight and rich depth in shadow. The company said the colour captures a balance between grounded resilience and fresh sophistication as botanical tones continue to trend.
The annual Colour of the Year selection follows PPG’s global colour forecasting workshop, where stylists from automotive, aerospace, architecture and design industries collaborate to identify emerging trends shaping the future of colour.
