SATA Canada has officially launched its new jet K pressure-fed spray gun, following its debut at the PaintExpo industrial trade fair in Karlsruhe, Germany.
The jet K Basic, which entered the market June 1, is designed for large-surface applications and a range of industrial coating processes, from functional coatings to clearcoat finishes.
According to SATA, the spray gun features an extensive nozzle range, including standard and MaxLayer nozzles, along with a lightweight, ergonomic design intended to improve versatility and operator comfort.
The jet K Basic is supplied with a spray gun, material tube, tool kit, an additional trigger kit for users with larger hands, an additional pressure spring and CCS clips.
Alongside the launch, SATA has introduced a new spare parts option for the jet K line. For the first time, customers can order individual nozzle components separately, including paint needles, fluid tips and air caps.
The company said the new offering is intended to support specific industrial requirements. However, SATA continues to recommend replacing complete nozzle sets to achieve optimal application performance, surface quality and colour matching.
Replacing an entire nozzle set ensures all components function as a matched system and remains the preferred approach for applications requiring the highest levels of finish consistency and colour accuracy, the company noted.
Additional products for the jet K range are already in development. A second release wave is planned for late summer and is expected to include extensions, additional nozzle sizes, the Miniset 2 with jet K and a tool set available as a spare part.
