
COVERAGE OF MOTORAMA IN TORONTO

The three-day event, which took place March 14–16, occupied more than 30,000 square metres of exhibit space and featured show cars, race cars, club displays and motorsports vendors.
WD-40 Students’ Day, which brought hundreds of automotive and trade students to the show floor for career panels and industry presentations aimed at introducing young people to careers in the automotive sector.
More than 100 race cars were on display in a dedicated motorsports section alongside racetracks, sanctioning bodies and equipment suppliers. Th e show floor also included custom builds, hot rods, classics and modified vehicles from clubs and private builders.
Celebrity appearances remained a major draw. Mike Hall appeared for a stage presentation and fan Q-and-A. During the talk, Hall reflected on his path into television, describing how he moved from working in demolitions at the Canadian National Railway to building a restoration business before eventually appearing on the series Rust Valley Restorers.
Th e event’s show car competition ran throughout the weekend, with dozens of vehicles competing across multiple classes. Th e event concluded with the announcement of the Motorama Grand Champion and the Valvoline Canadian 10 awards.
