The Automotive Recyclers of Canada is announcing the launch of the Western Canada Auto Recycling Show, which scheduled to run from September 18 and 19 in Calgary.
The new event brings together four provincial associations: the BC Auto Recyclers, Alberta Auto Recyclers & Dismantlers Association, Saskatchewan Auto Recyclers Association and Automotive Recyclers of Manitoba.
ARC’s board of directors is also scheduled to meet during the event, adding participation from recyclers across Canada.
Organizers indicated the event model was influenced by the Ontario Automotive Recyclers Association Annual Convention and Trade Show, which recently recorded its largest attendance to date.
“ARC acts as a catalyst to bring provinces together on issues affecting them locally as well as nationally and even internationally. These events will help accelerate knowledge transfer,” stated ARC chairman Wally Dingman.
