The Automotive Recyclers Association of Atlantic Canada has announced the program for its 2026 Convention and Trade Show in St. John’s, N.L.
Scheduled for August 21 and 22 at the JAG Hotel, the event marks a shift from ARAAC’s traditional June or November scheduling. The event is modelled after the recent Ontario Automotive Recyclers Association Annual Convention & Trade Show held in March.
“OARA has developed a reputation and expertise in organizing events that not only highlight the modern, professional industry but also create a critical mass to bring real world training and networking together - so critical to auto recycling today,” said Steve Fletcher, the longtime organizer of the OARA events and part of the planning committee for both East and West events.
The program includes an annual general meeting, trade show, presentations, panel discussions and tours of A1 Automotive and Newco Metal & Recycling.
ARAAC represents automotive recyclers across Atlantic Canada and serves as the regional affiliate of Automotive Recyclers of Canada.
