
Toronto, Ontario -- Skills Canada is calling on experienced auto body repair and auto painting professionals to volunteer as judges at the upcoming 2025 Skills Canada National Competition.
The event is taking place in Regina, Saskatchewan from May 28 to 31. It brings together the country’s top young skilled trades students to compete in more than 40 skill areas. Judges play a vital role in ensuring fair evaluation, providing expert assessments and helping maintain national standards of excellence in each field.
To serve as a judge, individuals must have relevant industry knowledge and hands-on expertise in their chosen skill area. Judges are also expected to be available for the duration of the competition and attend a competitor orientation session if required.
While Skills Canada does not cover travel or accommodation expenses, judges will receive complimentary on-site lunches during competition days, along with invitations the opening and closing ceremonies,welcome reception and entry to the hospitality suite.
Registration is currently open and will close on May 1, 2025. Those interested in judging can submit their names through the official registration form.
Organizers say the contribution of judges not only ensures a high-quality competition but also plays an important role in shaping the next generation of skilled tradespeople in Canada. With the competition just weeks away, the call for support from the automotive repair and refinishing community is more important than ever.
