The ASE Education Foundation will host a free webinar Sept. 30 to walk educators and industry representatives through updates to its accreditation standards.
The “accreditation standards update” webinar is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET and will cover changes to the Foundation’s program accreditation standards, implementation timelines and considerations for programs transitioning to the updated requirements.
The updated standards were released Aug. 1, with the new requirements becoming mandatory for applications submitted beginning Jan. 1, 2027. The Foundation has streamlined its program standards from 12 to nine.
For Collision Repair & Refinish programs, applications can continue to be submitted under the previous standards through Dec. 31, 2026. Beginning Jan. 1, 2027, applications must meet the updated standards.
Representatives from the ASE Education Foundation will provide an overview of the changes during the one-hour session, including key updates, implementation timelines, transition considerations and program preparedness.
Participants will receive a certificate of attendance for professional development purposes. Those who register but cannot attend the live session can access a recording, with registrants receiving priority access.
