CARSTAR has reopened its south London collision repair operation under a new name and at a new location, relaunching the former CARSTAR Express London facility as CARSTAR London South (Don-Mor) at 505 McGregor Ave.
The 372-square-metre shop is operated by the Don-Mor Automotive Group, which said the business paused operations while relocating and re-equipping before reopening in south London.

“South London has been part of our story for a long time, and re-establishing our presence here is something our whole team has been looking forward to,” Don Morton, founder and president of the Don-Mor Automotive Group, said in a statement. “We’ve put real thought into this shop — from the customer lobby to the on-site glass and ADAS work — so customers in this end of the city get the same standard of care our drivers across the region have trusted for decades.”
The facility includes a customer lobby, wash bay, estimating area, disassembly and triage areas, along with on-site glass repair and advanced driver assistance systems calibration capability. The company said the location will also handle temporary repairs before routing heavier collision work to production facilities elsewhere in the Don-Mor network.
Behind the new McGregor Avenue operation is more than 4,180 square metres of production space across the Don-Mor group and a workforce of more than 100 employees. The company said repairs are distributed across facilities to balance workload and maintain cycle times.
The business is led by Morton alongside director of operations Diane Sutherland, vice-president of finance John Cabral and vice-president and general manager Jeff Brown.
The group said customers at the new location will have access to collision repair, windshield replacement, ADAS calibration and paintless dent repair services supported by OEM certifications from Toyota, General Motors, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Hyundai, Genesis, Subaru, Nissan, Ford, Kia, Honda and Acura, in addition to I-CAR Gold Class status.
Don-Mor also highlighted electric vehicle repair capability across its network, including certifications from Tesla and VinFast and participation in the OEC EVHQ Program.
“Re-opening south London is a milestone for us, but it’s part of a bigger plan,” Brown said in a statement. “We’re building Don-Mor to handle the kind of volume the industry is moving toward — multi-location, load-levelled and technology-forward.”
Collin Welsh, senior director for Ontario at CARSTAR, said the reopening reflects the company’s long-term growth strategy in the region.
“The Don-Mor team brings decades of experience, outstanding certifications and a deep connection to the London community — and their growth-oriented approach is exactly the kind of leadership shaping the future of the network,” Welsh said.
Founded in 1980, Don-Mor operates multiple collision repair locations across southwestern Ontario and has partnered with CARSTAR for nearly 20 years. The London South opening follows the launch of CARSTAR Sarnia (High Tech) in December 2025.
