A bodyshop franchise has become the official collision repair partner of the Ottawa Senators through an agreement aimed at raising its profile in Eastern Ontario.

CARSTAR Canada officials announced the partnership with the Ottawa-based NHL team on Oct. 22. The agreement includes marketing rights, brand exposure and opportunities to engage with hockey fans.

“This partnership is an exciting opportunity to elevate the CARSTAR brand and strengthen our connection with communities across Eastern Ontario,” said Dave Foster, senior vice-president of CARSTAR Canada.

“The Ottawa Senators organization has built a passionate and loyal fan base, and we're proud to partner with a team that shares our commitment to excellence, community engagement, and delivering exceptional experiences.”

Financial terms and the length of the agreement were not disclosed. Specific advertising placements and fan activities were also not detailed in the announcement.

CARSTAR operates a network of independently owned and operated collision repair facilities. The network includes more than 800 locations across more than 40 U.S. states and all 10 Canadian provinces. CARSTAR is part of the Driven Brands Collision Group.

Martin Ballard, vice-president of corporate partnerships with the Senators, said the agreement will provide opportunities to connect the repair network with fans in Ottawa and Gatineau, Que.

“CARSTAR has built a strong reputation through its commitment to quality, service and the communities it serves, which makes this a natural partnership for our organization,” said Ballard.

“We look forward to working together to create meaningful connections with Senators fans and to grow the CARSTAR brand throughout Ottawa and Gatineau.”
