Ottawa, Ontario — July 26, 2016 — Earlier this month, AIA Canada launched a new series of events designed to bring together AIA leadership, local knowledge and expertise from different government offices, business intelligence agencies and other subject matter experts.

The first event in the Innovative Business Series took place July 6 to 10, 2016, during the 16th Annual Atlantic Nationals Automotive Extravaganza. The meeting took place at Crowne Plaza Moncton-Downtown in Moncton, New Brunswick.

Similar sessions have recently been announced for Ontario and Western Canada. According to AIA Canada, the new Canada-wide series is designed to create a climate where innovating thinking can be applied to solve industry problems and bring forward best practices.

The Ontario event takes place September 7, 2016, at Paramount Eventspace in Woodbridge, Ont. The one-day event will feature presentations from high profile industry leaders sharing insights on key topics that impact the current automotive aftermarket industry. The event will also feature a Silent Auction to raise money for High Fives for Kids and a reception/dinner.

In addition, the Ontario event will feature the “Show Your Ride Contest.” AIA Canada is offering five registrants of the Ontario Innovative Business Series a chance to have their personal car prominently on display during the conference. The top five qualifiers will be invited to display their ride at the entrance of the event. During the conference, delegates will be asked to pick the top qualifier, who will win a $250 gas card.
