Vancouver, British Columbia — The British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) is offering a fully-funded Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) training course, available to Canadian citizens and permanent residents through March 31.

This training opportunity is made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Canadian Colleges for a Resilient Recovery (C2R2) and the Government of Canada.

The ADAS Calibration and Clean Technology Integration program is part of a training initiative to provide workers with new skills needed to support a clean economy.

The course description notes that “this hands-on course provides detailed on-vehicle activities using the latest industry-specific diagnostic and calibration equipment.”

Prerequisites to register for the course include students possessing an automotive service, collision technician or level-3 equivalent apprenticeship status.
