WIN returns to San Diego for 2014 Annual Conference and inaugural MIW program

Leesburg, Virginia — October 10, 2013 — The 2014 Women’s Industry Network (WIN) Educational Conference is scheduled to take place in San Diego, Cal., from Monday, May 5 through Wednesday, May 7, 2014.

“We are extremely excited to return to San Diego, and to hold our conference at the idyllic Paradise Point which was named ‘Best Hotel Space’ by the Professional Convention Management Association,” said Jessica Voss-Kehl of 3M, who serves as WIN’s Conference Committee Co-Chair along with Jessica Rob of AkzoNobel.

“Paradise Point’s commitment to sustainability issues was a key decision point for WIN and we are looking forward to learning more about what that means and working with them to initiate steps toward a more ‘earth friendly’ event,” says Rob.

This year, in addition to the professional development programming, the Educational Conference will feature the Most Influential Women awards as part of the celebratory gala dinner. This will be the inaugural event of the Most Influential Women (MIW) program under the leadership of WIN.

“WIN is proud to continue to offer a unique educational experience for the industry coupled with the MIW program as it moves into its 8th year of the WIN Educational Conference. This year’s Conference will allow us to deliver quality conference content while honoring influential women in the industry who have excelled in both the industry and within their communities,” says Margaret Knell of I-CAR, who also serves as WIN’s Chair.
