Welcomes of the Week: ProColor Collision Markham

Markham, Ontario — It’s official–Markham, in Ontario, is now home to ProColor Collision Markville begins full-scale operations this week.

Formerly known as Markville Repair, the new facility reflects owner Mario Blandizzi’s association of 50 years in the collision repair industry and his desire to operate a fully equipped, futuristic collision repair shop in his own neighbourhood. “My older brother got me into this business. I started off as an apprentice in his shop 50 years ago. This influenced me to move out and start a shop of my own,” he says.

With 25 years operating his own independent body shop, Mario is a well-known name in the region’s collision repair industry. “Customers come to us as they trust our experience in repairing vehicles in a timely and safe manner,” Mario says. “We take great pride in the work that we do, and that we listen to the customers needs. We make sure that we keep our employees happy, and we love to see our customers satisfied.”

ProColor Collision Markville is a labour of love for Mario who was always keen to step into the big league of Canadian collision repairers. Conveniently located on 6 Heritage Road Unit 1, in Markham, the shop is equipped with the most advanced tools and technology to handle complicated collision repair, paint and glass repair services. Whether it is fixing a dent or eliminating a scratch or specialist services such as custom paint jobs, ProColor Markville is the place to be.

Before aligning his decades-old business with Fix Network, Mario and his team studied several established franchise models before finally deciding to go ahead with ProColor Collision. “We were always keen to have our work recognised by the insurance industry,” he says. “Our association with ProColor allows us this, and also provides us the guidance, marketing, training and administrative support that we need to remain as a profitable business.”

Mario also points out to feeling comfortable operating as a ProColor franchise partner. “ProColor Collision is family-oriented,” he adds. “They have great insurance relationships and management systems that train our teams to repair all makes and models of vehicles. Being a ProColor partner means we can now learn from the best in the business while being in control of our own operations.”

Welcoming ProColor Collision Markville into the network, Daryll O’Keefe, Regional Vice President – Ontario for Fix Network, says, “Mario and his team have a deep understanding of the latest collision repair techniques, and their enthusiasm to be an important part of our family makes this a win-win relationship. Our priority is always to fully support such inspired owner operators who want to grow their business. We look forward to supporting them as they begin a new chapter in their shop’s history.”
