Shuffling the Board: Jolanda Poots-Bijl to step down from AkzoNobel’s Supervisory Board

Toronto, Ontario – Jolanda Poots-Bijl has announced her decision to step down from AkzoNobel’s Supervisory Board, effective January 31. The decision follows her recent appointment as CFO of Ahold Delhaize, limiting her availability for her current Supervisory Board role.

Ben Noteboom, Chair of AkzoNobel’s Supervisory Board, expressed appreciation for Poots-Bijls contributions, saying: “We thank Jolanda for her support and dedication, both as a member of the Supervisory Board and the Audit Committee. She has been a valuable source of expertise over the years and we wish her well in her future activities.”

The Supervisory Board will announce a successor who will be nominated for appointment at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. Until then, her responsibilities will be covered by the current Supervisory Board members.
