
Nashville, Tennessee -- The Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association is hosting its 16th annual CONNEX conference at the Hilton Nashville Green Hills in Nashville, Tennessee, from September 23 to 25.
This year’s theme is “Insights to Innovation: The Future of Collision Industry Technology” and industry veteran Bill Garoutte will serve as the master of ceremonies the event.
For the first time, CONNEX will feature an Innovation Showcase, where presenters will share real-world examples of how technology is transforming the collision industry.
Speakers at the event will include Jason Scharton of 3M, who will present “Revolutionizing the OEM Paint Finishing Process with Robotics,” Eric Newell of Kinetic on “Using Automation to Combat Industry Headwinds,” Joel Adcock of Revv with “Solving the ADAS Crisis: Transforming an Industry Pain Point,” Stewart Peregrine of Autel discussing “The Real ADAS Blindspot – When ADAS Fails,” and Brian Herron of Opus IVS, who will address “The Future of ADAS: Innovation, Market Shifts, and Regulatory Impact.”
In addition to presentations and panel discussions, a highlight of the agenda will be a tour of Nissan’s Smyrna Vehicle Assembly Plant, the largest Nissan manufacturing site in the United States. The plant assembles the Nissan Murano, Pathfinder, Rogue and INFINITI QX60.
