Keynote Voice: Jeffrey Simpson to headline sustainability summit

Toronto, Ontario -- Jeffrey Simpson, award-winning columnist and author, will deliver the keynote address at the 2nd Annual Automotive Sustainability Summit, co-hosted by Solera Holdings, LLC. and Simplicity Car Care.

The announcement was made by Solera in a release on LinkedIn, confirming Simpson as the featured speaker for the October event.

Simpson served as national affairs columnist at The Globe and Mail for nearly 30 years and is the author of eight books on Canadian politics, public policy and sustainability. Over his career, he has received the Governor General’s Award for non-fiction, the National Magazine Award for political writing, and two National Newspaper Awards. His book, Chronic Condition: Why Canada’s Health-Care System Needs to be Dragged into the 21st Century, earned the Donner Prize in 2012. He also holds honorary doctorates from five Canadian universities.

In its release, Solera said Simpson’s presentation will explore Canada’s climate challenges from political, corporate and environmental perspectives, while underscoring that meaningful progress can be achieved with minimal disruption.

The Automotive Sustainability Summit will convene for its second year, offering collision repair and automotive professionals a platform to explore sustainable practices, regulatory foresight and innovations in green operations. Programming will include keynote sessions, case studies and opportunities for industry collaboration.
