Fancy Fixins’: Fix Network World announces F1 partnership at Global Conference

unnamed

Orlando, Florida — Beginning Wednesday, Fix Network World welcomed its industry friends from around the globe for three days of programming—and a little bit of fun, of course.

Attendees were treated to an extra-special surprise announcement—that Fix Network World is now an official partner of the Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake.

“We signed a multi-year deal,” said Fix Network World President and CEO Steve Leal. “We’re in this for the long haul.”

The partnership debuts this weekend, when the Fix car will be in Qatar—but a spare car was on-site at conference for attendees to ogle over.

“Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake will open up a new world for Fix Network, giving exposure on a global stage with an international audience of more than 1.5 billion viewers,” the company wrote in an accompanying press release.

“The partnership will also allow the Fix Network to access the team’s expertise in areas such as aerodynamics, materials science and data analytics, helping to apply the Formula 1 know-how to Fix’s global network,” added Fix Network World.

Leal added that Fix will attend F1 events globally and even invite key partners.

In terms of overall festivities—the event began on Wednesday evening with a ‘Floridian Fiesta’. Attendees donned their very best beachy looks to network and celebrate being together in person as a global network for the first time in four years.

Thursday morning started with an inspirational address from Leal, whose presentation centred around the ever-evolving automotive industry and the multitude of opportunities available to the collision repair market and Fix’s various brands.

Following a little game of this-and-that between Master of Ceremonies David Lingham and Leal, Lisa Foshee of the Auto Care Association discussed Right to Repair.

“We need to have competition in our market around the world. We get that by acquiring this [vehicle] data,” she told the audience.

Business growth expert Jeff Havens took the stage next, where he gave the crowd his tips on “uncrapifying” your future.

After lunch, chats included a talk on automotive glass technology in the aftermarket, presented by self-proclaimed “glass geek” William George of NSG – Pilkington; a discussion on Fix’s recent expansion to Saudi Arabia from Craig Hardie, group chief operations, UMG; and a talk on the nine principles of change and navigating changing environments and markets successfully, delivered by inspirational speaker Ariane de Bonvoison.

Thursday night closed with a Global Block Party that set attendees loose on the Universal Studios CityWalk. Check out our photos below!
