Japan to host next International Roundtable on Auto Recycling

Kushiro, Japan — August 20, 2014 — Registration is now officially open for the 2014 International Roundtable on Auto Recycling (IRT). This year’s event takes place in Kushiro, Japan, from October 1 to 4, 2014.

The IRT exists to provide professional automotive recyclers with a venue to discuss issues of mutual concern, to promote business relationships, and to improve the public image of the auto recycling industry. The last IRT took place in Phoenix, Arizona, in November 2013.

This marks the eighth IRT to date. The third IRT was held in Japan in 2007, so this year’s event is something of a homecoming, and a chance for Japan’s automotive recycling community to give thanks for the heart-warming support they received from recyclers around the world in overing the Great East Japan Earthquake of March, 2011.
