Toronto, Ontario — One small clip can make a big difference—Subaru knows this and is making sure mounting and spacer clips for select airbag curtain modules are made available to repairers.
These clips will be usable on model year 2015 to 2022 Outbacks and Legacys; MY 2018 to 2022 Crosstreks; MY 2019 to 2022 Foresters and MY 2019 to 2022 Ascents.
“Previously, these clips were not available separately, requiring the curtain module assembly to be replaced if the clips were removed. If the air bag curtain module requires removal, the clips can now be replaced individually,” read Subaru’s bulletin.
The OEM also updated its labour time guide to account for clip replacements.
