Toronto, Ontario — July 26, 2019 – The CRASH IT Golf Tournament went off without a hitch as industry members gathered to have some fun while raising funds for the Calgary Kids Cancer Care.

“138 people attended our Tournament yesterday at The Hampton’s Golf Club in Calgary,” reported Emilie Fremont, director of Business Development at Color Compass and board member of CRASH IT. “Over $5000 was raised for The Calgary Kids Cancer Care!”

Hosted by the Calgary Regional Appraisers Southern Hospitality Invitational Tournament (CRASH IT), the event began as a networking opportunity for auto insurers and appraisers, but now brings members of all areas of the automotive aftermarket on the greens.

“It has evolved into a great day of fun on the course for over 100 industry professionals every July,” stated a representative from the tournament.  “The tournament is still an event that never disappoints.”

Kicking off at 7:30 a.m. with a breakfast for all members, the attendees had a shotgun start at 9 a.m. followed by a banquet. In between, attendees played an 18-hole team while raising funds for Kids Cancer Care and enjoying the warm weather.

This year broke records for the highest attendance and raised $5000 for Calgary’s Kids Cancer Care.

Thanks to everyone for making it the best one yet!” stated CRASH IT.
