Winnipeg, Manitoba — July 27, 2016 — The Boyd Group has expanded again, this time with the acquisiton of a a collision repair centre in Titusville, Florida. The repair facility previously operated as Freddy Curtis Body Shop. Titusville is located about 50 miles east of Orlando on Florida’s “Space Coast.”
“We are very pleased to add this centre, which is well-located on Route 1, a key thoroughfare with high tourist traffic,” said Tim O’Day, President and COO of the Boyd Group’s US operations. “This is a nice addition to our centres in the area and solidifies our position as a leading provider of collision repair services in Florida. We look forward to serving both new customers in Titusville and our insurance partners.”
The Boyd Group has been racking up acquisitions at a rapid pace throughout 2016. The Titusville location is the twenty-second facility brought under the Boyd Group umbrella since the start of the year. Most of the new facilities have been in the US, but the company has also purchased three facilities in BC from a licensed partner.
