IBIS 2019 heads to Italy

The IBIS Symposium of 2019 is set to take place in Italy.

Munich, Germany — June 13, 2018 — The 2019 International Bodyshop Industry Symposium has a home.
 
“We are absolutely delighted to announce that our 2019 IBIS Global Summit destination is Italy,” said Jason Moseley, IBIS CEO.
 
Mosley addressed the crowd at the end of this year’s summit, revealing that the event will take place June 10-12 at the Grand Hotel Dino in Baveno.
 
This year’s summit came to an end at 12:15 p.m. yesterday in Munich Germany. The event wrapped up with four sessions before lunch, including guest speakers Jennifer Boyer, aftersales marketing director at Ford Motor Company and Mark Sanders, president and COO of Caliber Collision Centers.
 
Boyer and Sanders spoke about the relationship and shared goals between vehicle manufactures and repair operators. Sanders additionally spoke about innovating and maintaining operational excellence.
 
Also featured on the final day was panel discussion between Jim Muse, sales and marketing director – North America for Axalta Coating Systems and Stuart Sandell, director of sales replacement division at Enterprise Rent-A-Car Europe, on attracting workers to the automotive industry and the problems the industry faces in skill shortages and training needs.
