Toronto, Ontario — Honda has received some high praise in Consumer Guide’s recently published 2023 Best Buys list, where the Honda Civic and Ridgeline came out on top of the rankings in their respective categories.
In what could only be good news for drivers and Honda repairers alike, the iconic compact sedan, alongside the Japanese brand’s compact pickup, carried on their winning streaks for yet another year, marking the sixth and seventh straight wins for the respective models.
Additionally, both the Civic and the Ridgeline have held top marks in their categories for the eight of the past nine years, in recognition of what Consumer Guide’s considers to be “exceptional performance, features, accommodations, fuel efficiency, resale value and price,” among the winning models.
The automaker has won 36 Best Buy awards across its entire model lineup since 2014, according to Honda’s press release.
The Best Buys list is published on an annual basis and sees the editorial staff of Consumer Guides Automotive test driving more than 150 vehicles across numerous model classes.
