A vehicle buying software tool aimed at auto recyclers is set to debut this month at the Western Auto Recyclers Alliance conference in Reno, Nev., according to a press release from Crush Software Solutions.
The company swill formally unveil CRUSHBuy on Feb. 19 ahead of the WARA Summit | Education, Tech and Industry Showcase, scheduled Feb. 20–21 at the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino.
CRUSHBuy is designed to help recyclers evaluate vehicles at the point of purchase. It uses a “channel-aware” pricing approach that sorts vehicles into five channels, including junk and self-service units and rebuildable vehicles under and over US$5,000. Pricing anchors adjust based on the assigned channel.
Ryan Paterson, chief executive officer, is quoted in the release as stating: “Auto recyclers don’t need more noise. They need clarity at the point of purchase.”
The release describes CRUSHBuy as part of a broader CRUSH 2.0 roadmap focused on channel-aware thinking, consistent buying workflows and more structured decision-making across yard operations.
The company states it is headquartered in Salt Lake City and notes that it acquired S3 Software Solutions, developer of the CRUSH yard management system, in September 2025.
