South of the Border: Bestbuy Distributors joins Federated Auto Parts

Mississauga, Ontario -- In a move meant to strengthen its position within the Canadian aftermarket, Bestbuy Distributors Ltd. is joining Federated Auto Parts Group, one of North America’s largest automotive parts distribution networks.

“Bestbuy’s inclusion further reinforces its standing as a trusted name in Canada’s automotive aftermarket landscape. Together, we’re stronger—delivering more value, exceptional service and continued success from coast to coast.”

Bestbuy is headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario. It also operates a Western Canada Distribution Centre out of Edmonton, Alberta. Federated Auto Parts, based in Staunton, Virginia, serves over 4,000 outlets around the U.S.

This moves provides the Mississauga-based distribution network with enhanced access to exclusive buying opportunities and access to new brands. 

This is not the first time Bestbuy and Federated have come within each other’s orbits. In late 2022, the two organizations launched a similar strategic collaboration that laid the foundations of the existing collaboration.
