Women's Webinar: WIN speaker to discuss building careers in male-dominated professions

Toronto, Ontario -- The Women’s Industry Network is hosting restaurateur and entrepreneur Kelsey Glasser for a webinar focused on professional growth, innovation and building a rewarding career as a woman in a male-dominated industry.

The webinar, which will be held on Wednesday, April 23 at 1:00 p.m. EST, is entitled Driven to succeed: mindset, innovation and growth in any industry. Glasser will share insights applicable to the automotive aftermarket that have been drawn from her experience in the hospitality and wine sectors. 

She will discuss how to cultivate confidence and resilience, how to stay ahead in fast-changing industries and how to build strong and reliable networks of support. The session is open to women at any career level — from students and technicians to executives.

Glasser is best known for founding the acclaimed Portland restaurant Arden and for launching the wine education platform Raise a Glass Wine. She has been featured in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and Wine Enthusiast and She was recognized as one of Zagat's 30 Under 30 Restaurateurs to Watch.

The Women’s Industry Network’s is a volunteer organization that aims to attract, develop and promote women in collision repair professions. The all-volunteer group represents various collision industry segments including repair facilities, suppliers, consultants, information providers and insurance companies.
