Toronto, Ontario -- The Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association is hosting a webinar about the impact of new tariffs on collision repair businesses.
At 2 p.m. EST on April 17, Ryan Mandell, director of claims performance for Mitchell, will discuss how the Trump administration’s opaque tariff strategy is affecting the collision sector.
The webinar will touch on the reasons economic uncertainty could slow cycle times, limit parts supply, increase claim costs and also lower total loss thresholds. Mitchell will also look at how new and used vehicle prices have been affected by tariffs and look at how OEMs and insurers are responding to them.
Mandell, a frequent speaker at industry events, is best known for his work on the Mitchell Collision Podcast. He is also the author of Plugged-In: EV Collision Insights report industry events on trends in auto insurance, collision repair and vehicle complexity.
