Consolidated Collision Services has named ImEX Systems its preferred technology partner for
shop management software across its dealer-owned collision network.
The partnership gives CCS members access to ImEX Online, a cloud-based management
platform that combines estimating, scheduling, parts management, billing, invoicing and
reporting.
“Our members asked for a shop management platform that understands how dealer-owned
collision centres actually operate, with OEM procedures, warranty requirements and
manufacturer scorecards, not just work orders,” said Charles Aubry, general manager of CCS.
CCS represents more than 105 collision repair centres and 230 new car dealerships across
Canada. Its network includes franchised new-car dealerships and OEM-certified independent
collision centres.
A key component of the partnership is an integration between ImEX Online and dealership
management systems, allowing information to move between DMS and estimating platforms
without requiring staff to manually re-enter data.
The integration supports CDK Global, Reynolds and Reynolds and PBS Systems, three DMS
platforms widely used by Canadian dealerships.
Manual data entry between dealership and collision repair systems has traditionally required
staff to transfer information between repair orders and other systems, creating additional
administrative work and opportunities for errors.
“ImEX Online was built for this business, with estimating, scheduling, parts and invoicing in one
cloud platform and a Canadian support team behind it,” said James Rome, president of ImEX
Systems.
Under the partnership, CCS members will also have access to dedicated onboarding, training
and ongoing support. ImEX will be incorporated into CCS training curriculum and member
resources, with the organizations planning webinars and other member communications.
ImEX Systems was founded in Vancouver in 1994 and develops management software
specifically for the collision repair industry. The company’s products include ImEX Online and
ImEX Lite, as well as tools for parts savings and reputation management.
The partnership will also include ImEX participation at CCS events, including the annual CCS
Conference and ACE: The Automotive Conference & Expo.
