Meet the Team: AIA Canada announces new executive committee members at AGM

Toronto, Ontario --  The Automotive Industries Association of Canada adding three fresh appointments to its board of directors.

Trista Anger, the regional business manager for Western Canada at BASF Coatings Inc., Élisabeth Lambert, Owner of Pièces d’Auto Joliette and Jean-François Richard, CPA and general manager of La Société de gestion des huiles usagées, have joined the AIA's executive team. 

Anger has worked in the collision repair sector for more than two decades. She is also a member of several other boards, such as the Women’s Industry Network, the CCIF Steering Committee and Mitchell’s Customer Advisory Council.

Élisabeth Lambert joined the industry in 2010 and became the sole owner of her business in 2024. A champion for the next generation of auto care professionals, Lambert has played a leading role in advancing right-to-repair legislation in Quebec.

Jean-François Richard has a background in mechanics and finance. He is best known for his work at SOGHU and his involvement in the Quebec Roundtable on the Environment and Road Vehicles. 

The news was announced during its 83rd annual general meeting, which was held virtually on April 15. The new directors will serve until the 2028 AGM. 

In addition to the new board members, AIA Canada has announced its 2025 executive committee appointments. 

Tony Kuczynski, president and chief executive officer of Mister Transmission, will serve as the chair, succeeding from Ryan Bruno, president and CEO of CSN Collision, who will remain on the board as its past chair. 

Chris Kinghorn, vice-president of digital and sales enablement at UAP, will serve as the first vice-chair. 

Jason Herle, CEO of fountain tire, will serve as second vice-chair.
