Toyota Canada is recalling almost 7,000 vehicles in Canada due to some areas of the 12.3-inch combination meter display becoming blank during startup. Affected vehicles may not display warnings and indicators to the driver and do not meet federal safety requirements.
By continuing to drive without the warnings displayed, drivers are at an increased risk of a crash or injury and may be delayed in taking appropriate action. The affected vehicles include certain model year 2024-2025 Toyota Land Cruiser, Mirai, Lexus UX and GX vehicles.
Toyota will notify owners of all involved vehicles by late July 2026. All known owners of affected vehicles will be instructed to return their vehicles to a Toyota or Lexus dealer, where their combination meter software will be updated free of charge.
Vehicle owners can check the status of their vehicle by entering their vehicle identification number on the Toyota and Lexus websites.
