Toronto, Ontario -- The 22nd Annual Abrams Golf Tournament raised $10,384.51 in support of Lupus Ontario, marking another successful year for the long-running charity event.

Golfers from across the province gathered for a day of friendly competition, food and fundraising. Clear skies and ideal conditions helped make the tournament one of the most successful to date. Funds raised will support Lupus Ontario’s ongoing research and outreach programs for those affected by the autoimmune disease.

Patrick Hogan, director of sales at TransX Group of Companies, described it as “a great event and great cause” in a comment on LinkedIn.

Abrams Towing, founded in 1984 by Joey Gagne, has grown into one of Ontario’s largest towing and recovery operations. The company’s fleet includes more than 160 trucks ranging from light-duty tow vehicles to 50-ton heavy wreckers and hydraulic float trailers. With more than 200 employees across nine Ontario locations — including Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Hamilton, Windsor, Ottawa, Newmarket and Burlington — Abrams completes over 200,000 vehicle tows each year.

The annual tournament continues to reflect the company’s strong community presence and long-standing commitment to charitable causes in Ontario.
