Bigger and Better: SEMA 2023 to debut citywide SEMA Week

Las Vegas, Nevada — On the last day of the 2022 show, SEMA announced plans to expand the show into a full-week, citywide celebration of all things automotive, complimenting the ongoing, exclusive trade show.

Representatives explained that SEMA Week would be the beginning and culmination of a five-year vision to expand the show into an “all-city” experience, aiming to create the most passionate and exciting automotive event in the world.

SEMA Week will still be headlined by the SEMA Show and includes the SEMA Auction, featuring show headliners and other exclusive vehicles. These will run alongside the SEMA Ignited Cruise and SEMA Show after-party.

“We have been watching the connection between enthusiasts and our industry grow for more than a decade and, as the industry’s trade association, have a responsibility to help facilitate that connection in new and meaningful ways,” said James Lawrence, SEMA chairman of the board.

“By creating SEMA Week and SEMA Fest, we will be able to maintain the integrity of the trade show that makes it a must-attend event for automotive professionals while introducing a new platform for enthusiasts and the industry to engage with one another.”

SEMA Fest 2023 will take place at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds and is open to the public, featuring music, car shows, VIP experiences, craft food, automotive celebrities and motorsports. Additional details will be released in the coming months.
