Montreal, Quebec — CARSTAR Ancaster is this year’s CARSTAR Franchisee of the Year, Driven Brands announced at last week’s Canadian conference in Montreal.
Joe Saputo, who owns and operates CARSTAR Ancaster, accepted the award at the event’s prom night-themed awards night.
CARSTAR Ancaster has a long history with its franchising brand; Joe’s father, Sam Saputo, was among the first two Canadian CARSTAR franchisees.
“This all-star facility has grown exponentially in the last five years, increasing sales margin by more than 100 percent,” Sabrina Thring, COO of Driven Brands, said as she presented the award. “[They are] a true example of dedication to the craft and the CARSTAR Legacy values.”
Collision Repair magazine caught up with Joe at the event’s trade show last Thursday, just before he claimed his award.
