AutoCanada directors retire

AutoCananda announced Board of Director retirements Wednesday.

Toronto, Ontario — June 21, 2018– AutoCanada announced the departure of two of their board members Wednesday. 
 
Chair of the board, Gordon Barefoot, will be retiring due to a recent appointment as an executive at a leading North American utility company. CEO of Map Investco, Paul Anthony, has been chosen as the new Board Chair. Barefoot’s departure from the company will take effect August 9. 
 
Chair of the Goverance Compensation Committee, Michael Ross will retire effective immediately. Ross had previously served as chair for 11 years. 
 
“Gordon and Michael have been instrumental in providing guidance and oversight focused on the growth and development of AutoCanada from the early days until now as Canada’s premier publicly traded auto retailing group,” said Paul Antony, Board Chair. “Their significant contributions to this organization cannot be overstated and they will be missed.”
