The graduation class from Fanshawe College, with well-wishers Mike Kennelly, John Norris and Craig Alvaro.

London, Ontario — December 23, 2016 — Fanshawe College in London, Ontario recently held a special graduation party for the school’s Level 3 Auto Body Collision Damage Repair apprentices. The graduates can now head back to their respective shops, complete their training and write the Red Seal exam to become tradespeople in Ontario.

Instructors from Fanshawe College, such as Mike Kennelly, joined with 3M Canada representative Craig Alvaro and John Norris of Collision Industry Information Assistance (CIIA) for the celebration. Plaques were presented to all of the graduating students.

In addition, two of the students each received a special bonus. Jamie Wreggitt and Kyle Oberg each received gas cards, highlighting their dedication as the students with the longest distance to travel. Wreggitt hails from Fort Frances (about 1.512 km away) and Oberg is from Oxdrift, a community just outside of Dryden (about 1,708 km away).

All students will be sent ongoing industry information and can attend any future CIIA training course in Ontario at no charge.
