Who Let the Dogs Out?: Dogs attack and damage vehicles at a Houston car dealership

Harris County, Texas — A used car dealership in Harris County, Texas, outside of Houston, was recently attacked by two dogs, causing hundreds of thousands in damages.

Surveillance footage from the used car dealership, G Motors, shows that the dogs infiltrated the business premises and trashed vehicles on the lot.

In the video, the animals can be seen tearing apart the front of a Honda Civic. The owners of the dealership estimate that repair costs could range from US$100,000 to US$350,000.

Initially, the damage was thought to have been caused by wolves, but closer analysis of security footage showed that the damage was by the paws of domesticated (possibly stray) dogs.

G Motors is set to move locations soon, but in the meantime, the owners have filed a complaint with the Houston police. However, at the current stage, the police say that they cannot intervene unless the dogs injure a person as the issue is a civil matter.
