Welcomes of the Week: Second location for Fix Auto opens in Sherwood North Community

Edmonton, Alberta – Fix Auto Sherwood North has proudly announced its grand opening, bringing its services to a second location for the Sherwood, Alta., community.

The newest location at 167 Provincial Ave continues a rich family history in the automotive repair industry dating back to the early 1970s.

Owners Scott and Craig Koughan, with more than 20 years of experience each, are no strangers to the collision industry. Their journey began at a young age, as they grew up working in auto body shops, sweeping floors, and washing cars at their parents’ shop. This deep-rooted connection to collision repair has driven their passion and dedication to the craft.

The Koughan family’s first venture, Fix Auto Sherwood Park, has been successfully serving the community for four years. This new location, Fix Auto Sherwood North, represents an exciting new chapter in their journey, expanding their commitment to providing top-notch service and quality repairs to even more customers.

Recent upgrades at Fix Auto Sherwood North include three new Garmat prep stations; two newer Garmat paint booths; a wedge clamp frame pulling system; an automatic vision spectrophotometer for precise colour matching; and a purpose-built facility designed for high-quality workmanship within optimal time frames.

The decision to join the Fix Auto network was a natural one for Craig and Scott. The Fix Auto brand perfectly aligns with their business model, emphasizing quality, customer satisfaction and excellence. Being part of a global brand has not only simplified their operations but also equipped them to navigate the evolving challenges of the industry seamlessly.

“We love the Fix Auto brand and everything it stands for,” Craig said. “Joining the Fix Auto network just made sense.”

Fix Auto Sherwood North stands out from the competition not only because of its commitment to quality but also due to its exceptional company culture. The owners believe in creating an environment where employees feel appreciated and enjoy their work. They consider their employees the lifeblood of the business, understanding that happy employees lead to happy customers.

“Fix Auto Sherwood North is a testament to the commitment and dedication of Craig and Scott Koughan,” says Chris Peterson, regional vice-president of Western Canada, Fix Network Canada. “Their experience, combined with the values of the Fix Auto brand, make them a valuable addition to our network. We look forward to seeing their continued success and outstanding service to the Sherwood community.”
