Boucherville, Quebec — April 6, 2016 — Uni-Select has continued its recent acquisition drive, this time picking up Annex Group through its US subsidiary Finish Master.
Annex Group was founded in 1983 and specializes in the automotive, commercial fleet, marine, architectural and the industrial segments. The company operates in Washington and California.
“This acquisition aligns with our strategy to build density in key markets and in industrial segments,” said Henry Buckley, President and Chief Executive Officer of Uni-Select.
Annex Group is the fourth company to be acquired by Uni-Select or its US subsidiary since the beginning of the year. Previously in 2016, Uni-Select acquired Pièces d’autos M.A.G., Jean Talon Auto Parts and Centre de Pièces Gagnon. These followed a number of acquisitions that took place at the tail end of 2015, including the acquisition of T.N. Discovery Auto Collision, Colwood-Langford Auto Supply and B.H. McFarlane Automotive. On the US side, FinishMaster acquired Refinish Solutions in December 2015.
